Example: Mitigation of Protein Aggregation
Protein aggregation is a major challenge in the development of protein drugs. This degradation process decreases potency and leads to immune reactions. Aggregation leads to problems with intravenous Ig (IVIG), growth hormone
(hGH), interleukin-2 (IL-2) and erythropoietin (hEpo). In addition, aggregation leads to decreased expression levels.
